Cloud & DevOps

Ship on a Tuesday afternoon without worrying.

CI/CD pipelines, cloud and on-premises infrastructure, containers, monitoring and zero-downtime releases.

Cloud & DevOps at INTELLIA, in brief

INTELLIA's cloud and DevOps service sets up the pipelines and infrastructure that let teams release software safely and often: Azure DevOps or GitHub CI/CD, self-hosted build agents, Docker containers, infrastructure as code, monitoring, backups and zero-downtime deployment on Azure, AWS, private cloud or on-premises servers.

Manual deployments are a risk you pay for every release

When deployment means copying files to a server by hand, releases are rare, stressful and usually happen late at night. Environments drift apart, nobody knows exactly what is running in production, and a failed release can mean hours of downtime.

  • Manual, undocumented deployment steps
  • Staging and production that behave differently
  • No automatic rollback when a release fails
  • Little visibility into errors, uptime or cost

Capabilities

What our Cloud & DevOps team delivers

  • CI/CD pipelines

Build, test, scan and deploy automatically on every merge with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.

  • Self-hosted agents and private networks

Build agents inside your network for deployments to servers that cannot be reached from the public internet.

  • Containers and orchestration

Dockerized applications, Kubernetes or simpler container hosting, sized to your scale.

  • Cloud and hybrid infrastructure

Azure, AWS and on-premises or hypervisor-based private cloud, defined as code and documented.

  • Monitoring and incident response

Uptime checks, logs, metrics, alerting and runbooks so problems are found before users report them.

  • Security and backup

Secrets management, patching, least-privilege access, tested backups and disaster-recovery plans.

Our approach

How a typical engagement runs

  1. 1

    Assess

Review current hosting, deployment steps, environments, costs and risks.

  2. 2

    Design the target

Agree environments, branching strategy, pipeline stages, hosting and security controls.

  3. 3

    Automate

Implement pipelines and infrastructure as code, starting with the most-deployed application.

  4. 4

    Observe

Add logging, metrics, uptime monitoring and alert routing.

  5. 5

    Hand over and support

Runbooks, training and optional managed operations with defined response times.

What a good deployment pipeline includes

  1. Build the application in a clean, reproducible environment.
  2. Test with unit, integration and end-to-end suites.
  3. Scan dependencies and containers for known vulnerabilities.
  4. Package a versioned artifact or container image.
  5. Deploy to staging automatically and run smoke tests.
  6. Approve the release (manually or by policy).
  7. Deploy to production with health checks and automatic rollback.

Hosting options compared

Option Strengths Considerations
Public cloud (Azure, AWS) Elastic, managed services, global regions Data-residency rules; costs need active management
Private cloud / hypervisor Full control, predictable cost Your team runs hardware and upgrades
On-premises servers Meets strict residency and integration needs Capacity planning and disaster recovery are on you
Hybrid Sensitive data local, elastic workloads in cloud More moving parts to secure and monitor

Our Next.js CI/CD on Azure DevOps guide describes the self-hosted agent pattern in detail, and the zero-downtime deployment case study shows it in practice. For private infrastructure, see the hypervisor console case study.

Pricing and engagement

How we work together

DevOps work is often a short project to set up pipelines and infrastructure, followed by a light managed-operations retainer.

  • Pipeline setup

Best for: Teams deploying manually today

Fixed-scope CI/CD for one or more applications, with documentation.

  • Cloud migration

Best for: Moving from on-premises or between clouds

Assessment, migration plan and execution with minimal downtime.

  • Managed operations

    Best for: Production systems

Monitoring, patching, backups, cost reviews and incident response under an SLA.

We do not publish fixed prices because scope drives cost. Every proposal states assumptions, inclusions and exclusions.

FAQ

Cloud & DevOps: common questions

What is CI/CD?

CI/CD stands for continuous integration and continuous delivery or deployment. Every code change is built and tested automatically, and approved changes are deployed through the same automated steps, which makes releases smaller, safer and more frequent.

Can you deploy to servers inside our private network?

Yes. We install self-hosted Azure DevOps or GitHub agents inside your network so pipelines can deploy to internal servers without exposing them to the internet.

What does zero-downtime deployment mean?

The new version is started alongside the old one, health-checked, and traffic is switched only when it is ready. If checks fail, traffic stays on the old version, so users never see an outage.

Azure, AWS or on-premises?

It depends on data-residency rules, existing licenses, team skills and cost. Many clients in Pakistan and the GCC run hybrid setups. We recommend based on your constraints and can operate any of them.

How do you keep cloud costs under control?

Right-sized resources, auto-shutdown of non-production environments, reserved capacity where usage is steady, budgets with alerts and a monthly cost review.

Do you provide 24/7 support?

Managed operations plans can include out-of-hours alert response. Coverage and response times are defined in the support agreement.
